49ers Maurice Hurst Tears Bicep In Practice, 49ers Report

San Francisco 49ers DT Maurice Hurst tore his bicep in practice Friday.
ESPN reported coach Kyle Shanahan made the announcement before camp Saturday to reporters, adding his season is “most likely” over.
This is the second notable injury to the defensive side for the 49ers. Defensive tackle Arik Armstead suffered a knee sprain in Wednesday’s practice, and will be out a few weeks, Shanahan announced Friday.
Hurst took to Twitter over the weekend over the weekend to thank his fans for the support.

Maurice Hurst is entering his second year with the 49ers. In three years with the Raiders and one with the 49ers, he has registered one interception and eight sacks. He played only two games for the 49ers in the 2021 season because of injuries.
