49ers McCaffrey ranked higher than Mahomes on NFL Top 100, Williams enters Top 10

In a shocking turn of events, the NFL players have spoken: Christian McCaffrey is ranked higher than Patrick Mahomes and Trent Williams on the NFL Top 100.
The NFL released the final ten players of the NFL Top 100 of 2024 Friday, with the San Francisco 49ers’ superstar running back finishing one spot higher than Mahomes. McCaffrey was named the third-best player of 2024, with the Kansas City Chiefs gunslinger coming in at 4th overall. Williams was only a few spots down from both men, slotting in at No.7 for 2024. Surprisingly, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill took down the top spot for 2024.
The NFL unveils their Top 100 from 100-1. McCaffrey and Williams round out the 49ers’ 2024 selections, bringing the total to nine players inside the NFL Top 100 of 2024.

Christian McCaffrey, 28, has been an offensive juggernaut since joining the 49ers midway through the 2022 season. The Colorado native has amassed nearly 4,000 scrimmage yards and 39 touchdowns (regular season and playoffs) in 33 games played in Red & Gold. He has also throw for a score as well, making him the complete package for coach Kyle Shanahan’s offense.
Trent Williams, 36, is entering his 14th year in the NFL, maintaining his status as one of the best left tackles in the NFL the last decade. He is an 11-time Pro Bowler, and a three-time All-Pro member. He has made all All-Pro selections during his 49ers’ tenure. In 2023, the Texas native posted an 89.9 Pro Football Focus grade.
