Although his playing career is far from over, tight end George Kittle has a few ideas on life after football.
The San FranciscoĀ 49ers’ playmaker caught up with TMZ Sports when he was in Arizona earlier this month, asking him about his interest in professional wrestling. Clearly in a rush, Kittle didn’t spend too long with the paparazzi, but did hint at the venture down the line.
“Sounds fun!” Kittle exclaimed. “I think I got the personality for it.”
The tight end was also asked if he had a wrestling name picked out yet, replying with “George”. That would likely change if he was to transition into the world of WWE, as Kittle was hurried into a black SUV after leaving an event.
Kittle, 30, has been a massive fan of the WWE for some time, attending events like “Monday Night Raw” over the years. The Iowa alum showed off a few moves with 49ers’ fullback Kyle Juszczyk at the 2023 Pro Bowl, getting chock-slammed by his teammate.

George Kittle is also a fan of luchador wrestling, meeting up with Mexican & AEW superstar Penta El Zero Miedo before the 49ers’ clash with the Arizona Cardinals in Mexico City last year. One of the most popular football players in Mexico, Kittle’s embrace of the wrestling culture certainly bodes well for a crossover down the line.

While it’s fun to think about, The Faithful shouldn’t be worried about losing their stud TE anytime soon.
