Both players were diagnosed with COVID-19 in June. After two consecutive negative tests, they will be cleared to resume team activities

The Sacramento Kings have help on the way.

According to James Ham of NBC Sports, guard Buddy Hield and forward Jabari Parker have arrived in Orlando in preparation of the NBA season restart later this month.

Hield, Parker and center Alex Len all tested positive for the coronavirus in late June.

It is unknown if or when Len will join his team in Orlando.

Before being able to join team workouts, Hield and Parker must quarantine in their rooms while awaiting test results. Both must test negative twice over a 24 hour period before being cleared to play.

Hield was enjoying a strong year for the Kings before the NBA season was put on hold due to the pandemic. The 27 year-old holds per-game averages of 19.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists while shooting 39-percent from beyond the three-point line.

Parker, who was acquired by Sacramento in a trade with Atlanta in February, has only played in one game for the Kings this season.

The 25 year-old is averaging 14.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game this season while shooting 50-percent from the field over 33 games. Parker will provide the Kings with some much needed depth at the power-forward and small-forward positions.

Sacramento will play their first ‘pre-season’ scrimmage on July 22nd before opening up their final eight-game slate against the San Antonio Spurs on July 31st.
