Thirteen weeks into the NFL season and we have seen some great action so far.
The Lions finally did it as we have the final team to get a win this year. Congrats to Detroit and sorry Minnesota, because you were the team to give them their first W. As for Thursday and the weekend, I can guarantee that we will get some more great drama.
So here are the picks.
Lock of the week (10-3)
Kansas City Chiefs over the Las Vegas Raiders.
This game is about the way both teams are playing right now. Forget the rivalry aspect of this game. Kansas City is really thriving right now and what people may not have noticed is the play of their defense. The Chiefs in their 5 game win streak have allowed (17, 7, 14, 9 and 9 points) to their opponents. The Raiders in the meantime have struggled to score.
The Raiders have the look of a .500 team and that will show up again on Sunday as their inconsistent play will get exposed by Andy Reid and the Chiefs.
Upset of the week (3-10)
Ravens over the Browns. This is a rematch of a game a couple of Sunday nights ago and this one will look better. Both teams were sluggish in that game but look for Baltimore to rebound from Sunday’s loss to Pittsburgh and to go into the pound and come home with a win.
Games That I Feel Good About
Titans over the Jaguars. With two losses in a row for Tennessee and with the Colts breathing down their neck the Titans can’t afford to lose. The perfect opponent comes calling and look for the Jags to get back on track and pick up win number 9.
Saints over the Jets. New Orleans is slipping out of the playoff picture, but they are just better than the Jets. 5 straight losses for the Saints but look for that streak to be snapped this Sunday.
Seahawks over the Texans. Seattle kept their slim hopes alive last weekend with a gritty win over the 49ers. Seattle isn’t the same team they once were but Houston is a lost cause at this point. Seattle wins their second straight.
Chargers over the Giants. Justin Herbert and the Chargers are also always involved in thrilling games. They have too much fire power for the Giants and I expect this one to be less stressful for Los Angeles.
Packers over the Bears. Divisional games can be a challenge but this one shouldn’t be. Green Bay should cruise to their 10th win of the season and continue to be one of the front runners to get to the Super Bowl.
The Rest Of The Games
Vikings over the Steelers on Thursday night.
49ers over the Bengals- I thing the 49ers find a way, it would help if Deebo is back.
Cowboys over WFT- Coach McCarthy believes they will win, I am not as certain but still am picking the Boys.
Falcons over the Panthers.
Broncos over the Lions
Buccaneers over the Bills
Rams over Arizona on Monday night.
