Tyrese Haliburton Clears COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols

According a very reliable source, Sacramento Kings guard Tyrese Haliburton cleared the NBA’s COVID-19 Health & Safety protocols on Friday morning.

The source? Well, it was someone pretty close to Haliburton…

After a two-game absence, the talented guard took to Twitter to share the news that his return is on the horizon.

It’s currently unknown if Haliburton will be available on Saturday afternoon when the Kings open up a five-game road-trip against the reigning champion Milwaukee Bucks, but it’s within the realm of possibility that the Wisconsin-native could suit up in and makes his return.

With Haliburton sidelined, the Kings lost on Sunday to the Houston Rockets and Wednesday to the Detroit Pistons in devastating fashion to cap off a 2-3 home-stand.

Before entering the NBA’s protocols, the second-year guard had averaged 17.5 points, 9.4 assists and 1.4 steals per game on 50-percent shooting from the field and an incredible 47-percent shooting from beyond the three-point arc.

Sacramento is 0-4 when Haliburton has missed games this season, but it looks as if the team will get their starting two-guard back at an ideal time before beginning a difficult east-coast trip.

More information surrounding the 21-year-old’s status for Saturday night vs Milwaukee is expected to come around 5:30pm PST on Friday evening when the Kings release their injury report.
