The trade has been agreed upon by both teams, but is still pending Wilson’s approval

A blockbuster trade is in the works between the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos as Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that a deal has been agreed upon by both teams that would send the nine-time Prow Bowl quarterback to the AFC West.

Wilson, 33, has long been mentioned in trade rumors since the end of the regular season. The trade is still pending physical and Wilson’s approval, but it looks as if the Broncos will have an elite talent under center that they have been clamoring for.

According to the report from Schefter, quarterback Drew Lock will be included in the deal for Wilson.

The news of the Wilson deal comes just hours after it was reported that reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers will be returning to Green Bay on a monstrous four-year, $200 million deal.

Denver had been linked to Rodgers prior to the 38-year-old’s return to the Packers but has shifted its view towards the Super Bowl XLVIII champion in Wilson.

According to StatsByStats, Wilson would become the first quarterback in NFL history to play for a team that he previously defeated in a Super Bowl.
