The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII, winning the Lombardi Trophy for the first time in franchise history. Traditionally, the President of the United States invites the Super Bowl champions to the White House for a unique celebration.

Not this time.

President Donald Trump removed his White House invitation to the Eagles after their negative response to the new anti-kneeling during the national anthem regulations set in place by the NFL. Regulations that have a lot to do with the President’s influence.

Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins, who raised his fist during the anthem at the Super Bowl, had a unique and powerful response to President Trump when confronted by the media on Wednesday.

The Philadelphia Eagles had originally been scheduled to visit the White House on Tuesday. Get a closer look at Jenkins’ signs below.
