Amazon Prime Is Just The First Streaming Platform For NFL Games, The Athletic’s Dan Kaplan Says

San Francisco 49ers fans who watched Thursday night’s preseason finale were only able to check it out on one platform. That’s because Amazon Prime is now the official home of Thursday Night Football for the NFL.
Prior to 2022, the streaming platform simulcasted the games with either FOX or CBS. Dan Kaplan, an NFL reporter for The Athletic, joined Cattles & Ramie on Thursday to discuss the NFL’s streaming strategy and how not fans will be impacted, especially if the NFL decides to join more streaming platforms.
