The roster cuts have started in Sacramento.
The Sacramento Kings announced on Thursday that they have waived forward Kent Bazemore and guard Quinn Cook in a move that trims the training camp roster to 16 players (not counting two-way contracts).
Sacramento will need to cut one more player by October 17th to reach the NBA’s 15-man roster limit.

Bazemore, 33, was in the mix for a spot in the third-string rotation, but it appears that head coach Mike Brown has his eyes set on wings Chima Moneke or Sam Merrill for the final roster spot.
Cook, 29, had been battling fellow veteran guard Matthew Dellavedova for the third-string point guard spot during camp.
