The only thing the Sacramento Kings can do when a call doesn’t go their way is get fined. That’s what Kevin Huerter said when he shared his thoughts on Twitter last night after he was seemingly fouled on the last play.

Down by three to the Golden State Warriors, De’Aaron Fox passed to Huerter on the inbound, and as the guard let his game-tying attempt fly as the buzzer sounded, it appeared Warriors guard Klay Thompson made contact with Kevin Huerter. But the referees did not blow their whistles as the game clock struck zero. The Kings lost 116-113.

Fox and guard Malik Monk also shared their thoughts on Twitter, both laughing at the apparent no-call on their teammate.

This is the second time in less than a week this has happened to the Kings. Against the Miami Heat, Tyler Herro traveled before taking his game-winning three-pointer. The NBA’s two-minute report later confirmed the no-call.

After the game, coach Mike Brown said it’s tough being a King.

Just like in the Miami game, I asked the ref if it was a foul, and he said no,” Brown said. “It was clearly a foul. To have two games like that on the road where the whistle is swallowed, it’s tough. It’s tough for my guys in the locker room that are working their butts off. I just want, at the end of the game, somebody to step up and make the right call. A guy gets hit on the arm shooting a three, it’s a foul. A guy takes six steps or four steps, it’s a travel. We just want an opportunity to win in overtime.”
