As of Tuesday morning, Kevin Huerter ranked inside the top 10 in three-point field goal percentage leaders. On the year, he’s averaging 49.5% from behind the arc.

One of the players who has taken notice of Huerter and the Kings is Brooklyn Nets star, Kevin Durant. On the latest episode of The ETCs with Eddie Gonzalez, Durant threw some praise in Sacramento’s direction.

I definitely want to show some love for Sac though. That’s a tough team for anybody in the league. I don’t care if you’re the Boston Celtics or you have the worst record in the league…First of all, you can’t really switch anybody onto [Domantas] Sabonis because he’s too strong. So that throws off a lot of your defense, as well, when you want to keep your matchups. So now, you gotta chase off Kevin Huerter. Kevin Huerter, right now, he playing like Klay [Thompson], Steph [Curry]. The way he coming off the handoff and shooting the basketball right now. If you’re not a basketball fan and locked in on the league, you gotta watch how Kevin Heurter is shooting this ball right now.

Durant would go on to acknowledge De’Aaron Fox’s speed, Harrison Barnes’s shooting, the team’s bench depth, and compared Keegan Murray to Michael Porter Jr.

This isn’t the first time Durant praised what Sacramento is accomplishing. After the Nets’ 153-121 loss to Sacramento earlier this month, he said after the game that the pairing of Mike Brown and Sacramento is perfect.

Offensively, the Kings are clicking. The team leads the league in points per game and offensive rating, among other offensive statistics.
