Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs is having a phenomenal year.

He currently leads the NFL with 1,159 rushing yards. And, for the third time this season, he’s broken his own personal best for rushing yards in a single game.

According to the Raiders, Jacobs’ 229 rushing yards from Sunday’s win over the Seattle Seahawks are “the most in a single game in Raiders history and the most in a single game in the NFL since the 2020 season.” He’s also the first Raider in franchise history to rush for over 225 yards and record two touchdowns.

But that’s not all, Josh Jacobs was a force in the passing game, too. With his 74 receiving yards, he totaled 303 scrimmage yards for the day, a new single-game franchise record. He’s also the first player since 2007 to do that and only the sixth player in NFL history.

“He’s a football player. That’s probably the greatest compliment I could give him,” Raiders coach Josh McDaniels said following the game. “He comes up big. He had a couple big first downs on third-and-short, I’m not sure everybody in the league gets those, but he did. And then, of course, makes the big play at the end. I thought he was tremendous throughout. Gave us a lot of hard yards in the running game, caught the ball well out of the backfield, made some big plays with his hands. That’s JJ. That’s what he is.”
