Once the news came out that Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox had signed with Klutch Sports, people began to wonder if his time in Sacramento was limited.

Jason Anderson, sports editor at The Sacramento Bee, joined Cattles and Ramie on Monday to discuss Fox’s plans with a new agent, a new defensive rating that says the Kings are actually good, and more.

Topics discussed include:

  • Why Klutch Sports serves as an opportunity to grow De’Aaron’s brand
  • Fox and his wife love the city and are expecting a new baby, so they hope to set roots in Sacramento
  • What’s the level of concern for Keegan Murray
  • What other elements of Keegan’s game have yet to be unlocked?
  • Is the defense as bad as the defensive rating says? A recent article by ESPN using Second Spectrum’s quantified shot quality (qSQ) says the team is ranked fifth best in shot defense.
  • Does Domantas Sabonis need to be more aggressive with his field goal attempts?
