The San Francisco 49ers will have linebacker Dre Greenlaw and guard Aaron Banks back in the starting lineup heading into round one of the playoffs.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan announced Thursday that Greenlaw and Banks will return to the field for Saturday’s contest against the Seattle Seahawks. Both players have taken part in practice all week, with the feeling that both have received enough treatment to suit up against the Seahawks.

“Full go,” Shanahan said Thursday after practice. “We had a good practice yesterday…They looked good yesterday.”

Linebacker Dre Greenlaw suffered a back strain in the third quarter of the Las Vegas Raiders game, missing most of the snaps thereafter. Showing limitations walking off the field New Year’s Day, the 49ers opted to let him rest and recover ahead of the regular-season finale with the Arizona Cardinals. A week’s worth of rest seemed to do the trick, practicing in limited fashion all week to trend towards playing Wild Card weekend.

Aaron Banks is another player looking back to normal, inactive for Week 18 with a knee sprain suffered in Las Vegas. Unlike Greenlaw, Banks’ return for the playoffs seemed likely, after taking part in individual drills off to the side of practice last Friday. Swing lineman Daniel Brunskill filled in for the second-year guard, performing admirably in his absence.

The rest of San Francisco’s roster has been deemed healthy, including defensive tackle Kevin Givens. Givens returned to the field for Week 18, rehabbing an MCL sprain suffered in Week 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The only players missing the wild card game due to injury are former starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (foot) and cornerback Ambry Thomas (ankle).
