Keegan Murray stands alone.

The fourth-overall pick from last summer’s NBA Draft established a new Sacramento Kings rookie three-point record as the rookie eclipsed Bogdan Bogdanovic’s previous mark of 129 made three-point field goals during Wednesday night’s win over the Houston Rockets.

Murray finished the night with 10 points on two-of-four shooting from beyond the arc to give himself 130 made three-point field goals on the season, the most by a first-year player in Kings franchise history.

Murray has been an integral part of Sacramento’s best season in over 16 years as the two-time Western Conference Rookie of the Month award winner is averaging 12.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 0.8 steals per game while shooting 44 percent from the field and 41 percent from beyond the arc.

The rookie is currently on pace to make 200 three-pointers this season, which would shatter Donovan Mitchell’s NBA rookie record of 187 made triples during his rookie campaign in 2017-18.

From winning Summer League Most Valuable Player honors in Las Vegas to being named to the Rising Stars Game, it’s clear that the Kings have something special in Murray, who leads the 2022 rookie class in made three-point field goals by a wide margin:

Keegan Murray – 130

J. Smith Jr. – 82

AJ Griffin – 82
