The Sacramento Kings will have two All-Star representatives in Salt Lake City for February 19th’s NBA All-Star Game, as De’Aaron Fox will join Domantas Sabonis on the Western Conference roster.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced the replacements for Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry, Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant, and New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson on Friday morning, as Fox joins Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards and Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam as the newest All-Stars.

Now that De’Aaron Fox will join the three-time All-Star in Sabonis on the Western Conference roster, the Kings will send two players to an All-Star game for the first time since the 2003-04 season when Peja Stojakovic and Brad Miller both made the team.

Fox, 25, has been a force for a surprising Kings team that currently sits at 31-23 and third place in the Western Conference standings.

The soon-to-be All-Star is averaging 24.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 50 percent from the field. Fox has arguably been the top clutch player in the NBA this season, as the guard leads the league in several late-game categories, including points, field goals, and field goal percentage.
