The Sacramento Bee’s Jason Anderson is ready to call it publicly…the Sacramento Kings are making the playoffs.

Anderson joined Cattles and Ramie Monday to discuss the team’s recent wins over the Knicks and Suns, how coach Mike Brown has built a strong relationship with the team, and more.

“It’s been so long coming and Kings’ fans really have learned to guard their hearts here,” Anderson said after saying Sacramento will make the playoffs. “There’s been excitement before, there have been other times where people thought ‘well maybe,’ but you always wait for something bad to happen and I think even now, there’s only 16 games left in the regular season and up until now, people were just waiting ‘well when’s the other shoe going to drop’ and at this point, they’re solidified. They’re going to be in the top six.”

Topics discussed include:

  • The relationship between Mike Brown and his players.
  • How the team played recently and how it’ll translate once the postseason arrives.
  • Can the Kings be even more dangerous if the bench continues to be locked in?
  • Have we seen the best from Davion Mitchell yet?
