The Athletic’s Anthony Slater joined Deuce & Mo Wednesday to talk about the Sacramento Kings’ chance of clinching of playoff spot tonight, how important it is to beat the Portland Trail Blazers and what a Kings-Warriors playoff series would look like. Plus, can the Kings get out of the first round in the postseason?

All that and more on Deuce & Mo.

“That is what [Draymond Green] would do in a series with the Kings,” Slater said on the show. “He would roar around the court, pick up a technical [foul] in Game 1, emotionally challenge [Domantas Sabonis], get the entire Golden 1 Center booing him, and see how the Kings would respond.”

Topics discussed include:

  • Will the Kings get some help from the Memphis Grizzles tonight?
  • What has surprised Anthony the most about the Kings this season?
  • Is it surprising that Mike Brown has such a good offensive team?
  • Is the backup center role a big issue for the Kings?
  • Does Mike Brown make it easier for Sacramento to succeed in the playoffs?
  • How do the Kings & Warriors match up?
  • Is Draymond Green the x-factor for an interstate playoffs series?
  • Are the King a real threat in the postseason?
