Longtime Sacramento Kings public address announcer Scott Moak joined Cattles and Ramie to talk about the playoff drought ending, how loud Golden 1 Center will get during the postseason, and more.

“Hey, you’ve got some of the best and brightest working on this from a couple different angles. Is there something cooking up? There are a lot of things cooking up. Things that’ll blow people’s minds, things to be excited for. Nostalgia and history and things that cut deep, all of it,” Moak said.

Topics discussed include:

  • What did he do after the playoff berth became official
  • How the Kings have gotten quality wins on the road
  • The Golden 1 Center was designed to place more people on the lower level, which creates more volume closer to the court
  • “There’s been a few key moments this season where the playoff-level sound was in that building.”
  • Coming up with the Keegan Murray call during the Sacramento Kings draft party
  • If there’s been a discussion on when to beat the drum along with the light the beam chants
  • Why the Golden 1 Center in-arena entertainment is some of the best in the league
