The Sacramento Kings have announced a tip-off rally in DOCO Friday night before the team takes on the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

The rally, which kicks off at 5 p.m., will feature members of the Kings organization, performances from team entertainers and free team swag. Tickets are not required for the event.

Fans can attend the Kings Playoffs Playground at Ali Youssefi Square near the intersection of K and 7th Streets before or after the rally.

“This free fan zone will provide guests the opportunity to test their basketball skills, create a one-of-a-kind commemorative action figure of themselves in Kings gear, take a photo with the famed 6th Man Statue (formerly located at ARCO Arena), capture a video of themselves lighting the beam and make a custom cheer card,” the team said in a press release. “Select Playoffs merchandise will also be available for purchase. A game ticket is not required for entry into the Playoffs Playground, which will be open from 12-8 p.m. on game days, both home and away, with additional dates added at the discretion of the team.”

The three-seeded Kings host the sixth-seeded Golden State Warriors for Game 1 on Saturday, April 15, at the Golden 1 Center. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
