Chris Biderman says three-point shooting will be key for Kings in Game 5

Chris Biderman, the senior sports reporter for the Sacramento Bee, joined Chris & Co. on Tuesday afternoon to preview Game 5 between the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors, how the team can overcome De’Aaron Fox possibly sitting out and more.
“I don’t think there’s a world in which they win game five without a hot shooting game from the perimeter if Fox isn’t out there. Unless maybe Malik Monk has 35, maybe Davion Mitchell scores 17 points and maybe you get the random Trey Lyles 18-point game where he hits four of six three,” Biderman told Chris and Kyle.
Additional topics discussed include:
- Fox suiting up Wednesday night is “50/50”
- What strengths can the Kings lean on if Fox does not suit up
- Why the Game 5 being in Sacramento is a benefit for the Kings
- Kevin Huerter will be the biggest indicator of how Game 5 will turn out
- Davion Mitchell played well with the starters all year and it’s “not a foreign lineup at all for those guys.”
- How important it is for Keegan Murray to continue shooting and build off his Game 4 statistics
- Where are the Warriors the weakest?
- What adjustments does Domantas Sabonis need to make to be more effective?
- “I think Sabonis just needs to be decisive. If he’s open from 17 feet, take the pass and shoot it. Just go up, don’t think about it.”
