Former Sacramento Kings head coach and broadcaster Jerry Reynolds joined Whitey Gleason and Kyle Madson Monday to discuss the 2023 NBA playoffs, where the Philadelphia 76ers go from here, and if the Kings should retain Harrison Barnes in the offseason.

All that & more on Chris & Co.

“I think it’s in Harrison’s best interest, and in the team’s best interest, to be an off-the-bench player going forward these next few years,” Reynolds said on the show Monday. “Because I think he’s very versatile and can play key minutes at [small forward and power forward]. That’s just my opinion but I think the Kings need to sign him, whether it’s at the rate he wants or his agent wants or the Kings want that, that’s to be determined. But he certainly has value, he has value to the Kings and the league.”

Additional topics discussed include:

  • What is the Philadelphia 76ers’ next step?
  • Could Doc Rivers be out in Philly?
  • Should Harrison Barnes come off the bench next season for Sacramento?
  • Should the Kings re-sign HB?
  • Why is Jerry pulling for the Denver Nuggets in the WCF?
  • Can the Miami Heat beat Boston in the ECF?
  • Can Sasha Venzenkov adjust to NBA basketball?
  • What do the Kings need to address this offseason?
