Bob Gerould, of HoopObsession.com, joined Chris & Co. with Jason Ross Friday to preview the upcoming 2023 NBA Draft.

The Sacramento Kings currently have the 24th pick in the NBA Draft and one fan theory is the team should select Keegan’s brother, Kris Murray. However, if the picks go the way Gerould has them laid out on his board, Kris could be a top-10 selection.

“If you watched Kris Murray this year at Iowa, you can see that he can score in the post, he can score on the wing, he can take slower forwards off the bounce, he’s a great cutter,” Gerould said. “I’m a fan of Kris Murray. I think he is a little bit underrated in this draft.”

Additional topics discussed include:

  • The Kings have drafted older rookies in the past. Which players in this year’s draft follow that mold?
  • What is the depth like in this year’s draft?
  • If the Kings could draft anybody not named Victor Wembanyama or Scoot Henderson, who should they select?
  • The best offseason moves the Kings could make to build upon last season
