Earlier this year, former Las Vegas Raiders tight end Foster Moreau announced he had been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

On July 3, he received some good news, tweeting that he is in full remission.

After a few tumultuous months, I’ve been blessed with the news that I am in full remission from Hodgkin Lymphoma! I’m so grateful to everyone who reached out to offer their love and support; our prayers were answered. From here I will continue to live my life as God intended

According to the Mayo Clinic, Hodgkin’s lymphoma is a type of cancer that impacts the body’s germ-fighting immune system.

The 25-year-old tight end was diagnosed during a physical with the New Orleans Saints. In May, he signed a three-year contract with the Saints worth $12 million and by June, he was able to participate in Saints’ offseason practices with former Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr in New Orleans.

Foster Moreau was selected by the Raiders in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. In four seasons with the organization, he caught 91 receptions for 1,107 yards and 12 touchdowns. Last year, he saw career highs in catches (33) and yards (420).
