The Sacramento Kings broke their 16-year playoff drought last season and had two All-NBA players, but they still may only get one All-Star in 2024.

Last year, De’Aaron Fox (first selection) and Domantas Sabonis (third selection) became the first Kings teammates to be named to the same NBA All-Star team since Peja Stojakovic and Brad Miller were selected during the 2003-04 season. Sabonis was added as a reserve and Fox was an injury replacement.

In the first returns of fan votes, Fox is the only member of the Beam Team within the Top 10 in either category. He’s currently sandwiched between Ja Morant, who’s only played eight games so far this season, and an aging Klay Thompson in the guard group.

Sabonis, who is leading the NBA in rebounds with 12.8 per game, is nowhere to be found in the frontcourt category.

The 73rd annual All-Star game takes place in Indianapolis on Sunday, Feb. 18, on TNT.

How NBA All-Star voting works

Less than a month remains for fans to vote in their favorite Kings players. Fans can vote once a day on the NBA app or on NBA.com.

There are four more chances when fans vote where their ballot will count three times: Friday, Jan. 5, Friday, Jan. 12, Monday, Jan. 15 and Friday, Jan. 19 from 12:01 a.m. ET – 11:59 p.m. ET. Fans account for 50% of the vote, with current players and a media panel accounting for 25% each.

TNT will reveal the All-Star game starters on Thursday, Jan. 25. The reserves, who are selected by NBA coaches, are announced a week later on Thursday, Feb. 1.
