While the personnel may have been different in Week 1, the result was the same in Week 18, as the Las Vegas Raiders close out the 2023 NFL season with a 27-14 win over the Denver Broncos.

The two teams opened the season, with both teams having since made quarterback changes and the Raiders moving on from former coach Josh McDaniels. With Sunday’s win, interim coach Antonio Pierce ends the season with a 5-4 record and the Raiders extend their winning streak over the Broncos to eight games.

The Raiders were able to get on the board first and never looked back. Las Vegas ended the first quarter on a Jakobi Meyers five-yard touchdown run. Denver would tie it up in the second when Jerry Jeudy Pass From and former Raiders’ quarterback Jarrett Stidham connected for a 24 TD.

But the Raiders would respond with 17 unanswered points — a Daniel Carlson field goal plus two touchdown passes from Aidan O’Connell — that would put Las Vegas up for good over the Broncos.
