Report: Kings acquire cash along with Robin Lopez, who will be waived

The Sacramento Kings made their first (and only) trade of the 2023-24 NBA season, but it will not affect their roster. Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, they acquired cash considerations in a Robin Lopez trade, who will be waived.
While unconfirmed, the Kings seem to have given up any players to the Milwaukee Bucks in the Robin Lopez trade. Sacramento currently has an open roster spot, which they could temporarily absorb Lopez into.
The Milwaukee Bucks are trading Robin Lopez to the Sacramento Kings, sources tell ESPN. Lopez is expected to be waived and become a free agent.

When is the next Sacramento Kings game?
Sacramento will begin a brutal portion of its regular season schedule on Friday night when they face the defending champion Denver Nuggets at Golden 1 Center.
The Kings will face Denver (three times), Oklahoma City, Phoenix, the Los Angeles Clippers, and Minnesota Timberwolves over their next ten games.
