Dre Greenlaw left Sunday’s Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs early with an injury.
A few minutes into the second quarter, Greenlaw and the 49ers defense were returning to the field after a Chiefs’ punt when the San Francisco linebacker went down with a non-contact injury. He was eventually carted off the field.
Shortly later on the broadcast, the announcers said it was an Achilles injury. The San Francisco 49ers initially listed Dre Greenlaw as questionable to return, but soon after ruled him out.
