Andrej Stojakovic, son of ex-NBA player Peja, has officially entered the transfer portal following his freshman season at Stanford. Andrej played high school basketball at Jesuit High School in Sacramento before graduating in 2023.

During his lone season with the Stanford Cardinals, Andrej Stojakovic averaged 7.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 0.9 assists on 40.9 percent from the field in 22.3 minutes per night.

Throughout his 32 games, he contributed ten or more points on nine occasions. His highest-scoring game of the season came against Bronny James and USC, where he tallied 20 points on 8/12 shooting, including 4/7 from three.

Jerod Haase, who had been head coach of Cardinals basketball for the past eight seasons, was recently let go, which could have factored into Andrej’s decision to enter the transfer portal.

It will be interesting to monitor where Andrej Stojakovic will continue his collegiate basketball career and what year he will enter his name into the NBA Draft, assuming that is the eventual goal for the 6’6 wing.

As a five-star recruit from Jesuit High School, there should be plenty of interest from schools around the country, including those that previously attempted to scout him during his initial commitment stage just one year ago.
