In only his second season in Sacramento, Mike Brown continues to etch his name in the franchise history books.

With Monday night’s 108-96 win over the Philadelphia 76ers, Brown secured his second-consecutive above .500 record with the Kings. In his first year with the organization, Brown led the Kings to a top-three finish in the Western Conference standings, a record of 48-34, the team’s first Pacific Division title since 2003, and first playoff appearance in 17 years.

Rick Adelman spent eight seasons with the Kings, earning an above .500 record each year he coached. Brown and Adelman are the only two coaches in the Sacramento era to record winning records.

The 12 coaches in between Brown and Adelman totaled zero winning records.

When is the next Sacramento Kings game?

Sacramento will enter a pivotal two-game stretch–both against the Dallas Mavericks at Golden 1 Center–that will begin on Tuesday night in front of a national audience on TNT.

The Kings hold a 2-0 record against Dallas this season, with both wins coming on the road. Tuesday’s game will have postseason implications as Sacramento will enter play in a tie with the Mavs for the seventh spot in the Western Conference standings.

Playoff implications. A national broadcast. Plenty of talent on the floor. Get ready for an action-packed two-game set between these two postseason hopefuls.
