49ers coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed that both George Kittle and Fred Warner did not practice Thursday. While their absence is concerning say the least, both men still have a shot at playing Week 5.

“Still not sure yet. They haven’t been good enough to go today which is never fun,” Shanahan said on KNBR Thursday. “They’re two guys who, if they don’t practice, can definitely play on Sunday. So hopefully they’ll get there.”
