Jake LaRavia (thumb) will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days

The Sacramento Kings announced that forward Jake LaRavia has suffered a bone contusion in his left thumb and will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days.

Dealing with various injuries across their roster recently, the Sacramento Kings will be without forward Jake LaRavia for at least one week, the team announced on Friday.

The Kings said, “Jake LaRavia completed imaging on his left thumb after taking a fall in the third quarter versus the Oklahoma City THunder on Tuesday, March 25.”

Having already missed the last two games, LaRavia suffered a bone contusion and will be re-evaluated in the next 7-10 days.

Making a push for postseason standings with nine games remaining in the regular season, 7-10 days means LaRavia will be absent for a minimum of 4-6 games.

Interim head coach Doug Christie always asks his team to embrace a “next man up mentality,” which will be necessary down the stretch.
