LiAngelo Ball won’t be hitting the UCLA basketball court anytime soon, and it’s not because of his suspension…

TMZ Sports has revealed that Ball was removed completely from UCLA by his father, LaVar.

Supposedly, LaVar Ball thought his son’s suspension from the team was unfair because charges were dropped (even though it took a lot of effort to get him out of trouble).

His people told TMZ:

“There’s no need to break down a kid’s spirit for making a mistake.”

However, they also reiterated that their appreciation for UCLA for everything they’d done.

LiAngelo was only a freshman, and he had yet to play a game.
