Dealing with a busy offseason, the San Francisco 49ers began their off-season workout program on Tuesday. Many of their recent roster moves anticipated a change in their salary sheet as starting quarterback Brock Purdy awaits an extension, the first of his career.

Many players in Purdy’s situation would elect to sit out of the team’s offseason work, but Purdy was in attendance, per ESPN‘s Adam Schefter.

George Kittle, who has been a key contributor for San Francicso since being drafted in the 5th round of the 2017 NFL Draft, is a different story.

Like Purdy, Kittle is in contract discussions for a new deal, but the six-time Pro Bowler did not attend day one of the 49ers voluntary off-season workout program, per Schefter.

  • Round 3 – Pick 75
  • Round 3 – Pick 100 (compensatory)
  • Round 4 – Pick 113

  • Round 5 – Pick 147
  • Round 5 – Pick 160
  • Round 7 – Pick 227

It should be a busy week for San Francisco and the entire NFL.
