Broncos trade Demaryius Thomas to the Texans for a fourth-round pick

Deshaun Watson gets another target in Thomas. Thomas has spent his entire career in Denver up to this point and was a four-time Pro Bowler with the Broncos. On the season so far, he’s had 36 receptions on 56 targets for 402 yards and three touchdowns. Houston sits at 5-3 after starting the season 0-3 and have the fourteenth-best pass offense in the league.

Lions trade Golden Tate to the Eagles for a third-round pick

Just like the Texans, the Eagles add another weapon for their young quarterback in Tate. The 30-year old receiver signed with the Lions in 2014 and has been a consistent part of their offense, recording at least 90 receptions and 1,000 yards in his three season in Detroit. So far this season, Tate has recorded 44 receptions for 517 yards and three touchdowns.

Packers trade Ty Montgomery to the Ravens for a 2020 seventh-round pick

In a move that wasn’t too surprising after the Packers game Sunday against the Rams, the Ravens add Montgomery hoping to bolster their 24th ranked rushing attack. Montgomery was drafted by the Packers in 2014 as a receiver but was moved to the running back position in 2016. Montgomery has seen a reduced role with the Packers this season, only averaging 3.7 carries per game and 15 yards per game.

Jaguars trade Dante Fowler to the Rams for a 2019 third-round pick and a 2020 fifth-round pick

The Rams defense gets that much better after acquiring pass rusher Dante Fowler. Fowler joins a defensive line that already includes Ndamukong Suh and Aaron Donald and a Rams defense that is known for its ability to get after the opposing quarterback.

Packers trade Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to Washington for a fourth-round pick

The NFC East division leaders add to a secondary that has been pretty good so far this season. Clinton-Dix is in his fifth NFL season out of Alabama and has already recorded three interceptions this season.
