Hell hath no fury like a disgruntled NBA star.
After demanding a trade out of Minnesota weeks ago, Jimmy Butler has now taken to verbally berating teammates and coaches at Timberwolves’ practice. Butler, who reportedly has been at the center of distrust and frustration within the Minnesota roster, allegedly yelled “you can’t win without me” in practice, and challenged Karl Anthony-Towns and Andrew Wiggins.
All-Star Jimmy Butler participated in Minnesota's practice, a session that included him verbally challenging teammates, coaches and front office, league sources told ESPN. Butler was vociferous and emotional at times, targeting Thibodeau/Layden/Towns/Wiggins. Story soon on ESPN.

Butler played with the bench unit during a scrimmage, and led them to a victory over the starting unit, prompting the outbursts.
At one point in a scrimmage, sources said, Butler turned to GM Scott Layden and screamed, "You (bleeping) need me. You can't win without me." Butler left teammates and coaches largely speechless. He dominated the gym in every way. Jimmy's back.

With the start of the NBA season just a week away, and the Timberwolves not budging on their high asking price for Butler, the former all-star and all-NBA defender has said he will not forfeit paychecks by sitting out games. Minnesota opens up their season on October 17th against the San Antonio Spurs.
