Golden State Warriors’ reporter for The Athletic, Anthony Slater, joined Chris & Co. with Whitey Gleason Wednesday to talk about the Draymond Green suspension, if it was the right decision by the league office, and how Golden State needs to adjust in Game 3.

All that & more on Chris & Co. with Whitey Gleason.

“I was surprised, the Warriors were very surprised. [They] at least thought that the ejection for six pretty-important minutes in Game 2 was enough of a punishment, especially with the fact that the NBA acknowledged [Domantas] Sabonis at least did something. Don’t forget the technical [foul] for the leg wrap,” Slater said on the show. “It was a decision that you know, they had meetings yesterday with Sabonis, with [Draymond Green]. It was a decision that was partly based on Draymond’s past.”

Topics discussed include:

  • Was Anthony surprised by the Draymond Green suspension?
  • Can the Warriors use the suspension as a rallying moment?
  • What are the plans for Jordan Poole long-term?
  • Why has Alex Len been is effective in this series?
  • What do the Warriors need to fix in Game 3?
  • Is a Klay Thompson game looming?
  • Are Kings fans going to invade Chase Center Thursday?
