According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, new Sacramento Kings head coach Mike Brown will be adding Golden State Warriors player development coach Leandro Barbosa to his coaching staff.
Barbosa, 39, played in the NBA for 14 seasons with the Phoenix Suns, Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics, and Golden State Warriors from 2003-17. Following his playing career, Barbosa accepted a job with the Warriors as a player mentor coach prior to the 2020-21 season.

Over the past three seasons, Barbosa has helped build the Warriors into a championship team following a rough 2019-20 season that saw the franchise finish with a 15-50 record.
The former guard will bring his knowledge of the game to Brown’s staff, joining Doug Christie, Jay Triano, Jordi Fernandez, and Luke Loucks.
