Longtime GM of the Rockets Daryl Morey is now the new President of Basketball Ops for the Sixers.
Elton Brand is the GM. I mean he answers to Morey. Even though in Sac Monte McNair is the GM but everyone answers to HIM.
Side note: can teams please just figure out a universal title for all people that make the final front office decisions in the front office? Sheesh.
Before Morey’s hire, Philly was already thought of as a potential trade destination for the Kings. Now it gets even crazier. They say good relationships help make transactions, and you can’t have a better relationship than Morey and his former lieutenant McNair have.
This morning on the show, we talked about how perfectly Buddy Hield would fit alongside the most famous 3 point (non) shooter in the league, Ben Simmons.
