16 years.

That’s how long the current Sacramento Kings playoff drought has lasted. Nearly two decades of losing basketball, pain and a “maybe next year” mentality every April.

Of course, if the NBA Play-In was around from the beginning of the drought, we might not be having this conversation right now.

During Tuesday’s edition of The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross, the guys did some deep-diving with JayMarzz to uncover exactly how many times the Kings would have made the Play-In if it was instituted prior to the 2006-07 season.

Reminder: the top ten teams in each conference qualify for postseason play, with the seven through ten seeds securing spots in the Play-In.

How many times have the Sacramento Kings finished within the top ten of the Western Conference standings since 2007?

Listen to find out!
