Trey Sermon and Alex Leatherwood were released by their respective teams this week.

Both men were drafted in 2021 with high expectations. Sermon was a third-round pick for the San Francisco 49ers and Leatherwood was a first-round pick for the Las Vegas Raiders.

  • What happened between Trey Sermon and the 49ers?
  • Why it wasn’t a surprise to see the former Ohio State running back get released by San Francisco
  • Alex Leatherwood should not have been a first-round pick, but he can still have a good career
