It’s really hard not to root for the Cleveland Browns. One of the worst franchises in professional sports, that can’t seem to get out of their own way. They have gone through the alphabet at least three times now, from plan a to z. After another dreadful year, going 0-16 in 2017, the Browns are starting to make their move.

In just a few hours, the Browns have blown up the NFL headlines page, and are turning heads in a good way for a change.

Cleveland sent a pair of draft picks to the Miami Dolphins for wide receiver Jarvis Landry, who was franchise tagged by the Dolphins in February. Neither of the draft picks are in the first two rounds, according to reports. Landry finished the 2017 season with 112 receptions (most in the NFL), 987 yards and nine touchdowns. That’s two more touchdowns than all of the 2017 Browns receivers combined. Cleveland is expected to sign Landry to a multi-year deal.

So they got their receiver, but who is going to throw him the ball? The quarterback position has been a plague in Cleveland since the dawn of time. In a shocking move, the Browns have reportedly offered their third-round pick, number 65 overall, to the Buffalo Bills for Tyrod Taylor.

Taylor had a down year in 2017 after a promising 2016, finishing with 2,799 passing yards, 14 touch downs, four interceptions, and a 62.6 completion percentage.

But the Browns weren’t done there. They have also reportedly agreed to a deal with the Packers for cornerback Damarious Randall, sending quarterback DeShone Kizer to Green Bay.

And yes, the Browns still have the 1st and 4th overall picks in the upcoming NFL Draft.

None of the trades can be finalized officially until March 14th.
