Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox shared his thoughts on what he saw during the final minutes of play on Wednesday night as the Atlanta Hawks pulled out a 120-117 win at Golden 1 Center.
Fox scored 22 points during the fourth quarter of Tuesday night’s game in Salt Lake City and 11 points during the final period on Wednesday night, but it wouldn’t be enough as Sacramento struggled to get stops down the final stretch.
The Sacramento Kings entered the 2022-23 season hoping to break a 16-year playoff drought. After hiring Mike Brown as the team’s new coach, the Kings drafted Keegan Murray as the number four overall pick. They continued to make moves over the summer, trading for Kevin Huerter and signing multiple free agents, including guard Malik Monk.
