De’Aaron Fox explains how the Kings can still improve defensively
Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox spoke to the media after Thursday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs about the team’s recent scoring streak, the tandem of him and Malik Monk, and why the team still needs to get better defensively.
Following Thursday’s game at the Golden 1 Center, De’Aaron Fox and the team welcome Marvin Bagley III and Detroit Pistons into Sacramento before hitting the road during Thanksgiving week for a three-game road trip. This is the first time Bagley, a former first-round pick by the Kings, faces his former team since being traded last February.
The Sacramento Kings entered the 2022-23 season hoping to break a 16-year playoff drought. After hiring Mike Brown as the team’s new coach, the Kings drafted Keegan Murray with the number four overall pick. They continued to make moves over the summer, trading for Kevin Huerter and signing multiple free agents, including guard Malik Monk.
