This week on The Jason Ross & Doug Christie Show, former Sacramento Kings assistant coach and current NBA Slam Dunk Champion Dee Brown joined the show to talk about his playing career, dive into the NBA Playoffs and much more.

Brown, 52, was drafted out of Jacksonville University by the Boston Celtics with the 19th overall pick in the first round of the 1990 NBA Draft.

The 6’1 guard carved out a niche in the league for the next 12 years, playing for the Celtics, Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic from 1990-2002. During his time in the league, Brown averaged 11.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game on 43-percent shooting from the field and 35-percent shooting from three-point range.

One of Brown’s most impressive feats was when he won the 1991 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, sealing the victory with a no-look jam to claim the title.
