Hopefully, the Detroit Lions haven’t already peaked.
How could the peak already when it’s only the preseason you ask? As the feature team on “Hard Knocks,” the HBO NFL training camp reality series, the team is showing off its personality, led by head coach Dan Campbell.
But, they didn’t sign any eath-shattering players in free agency. And they’re coming off a 3-13-1 season. As they continue to build a new culture in Detroit, will the continuity of players from previous seasons help?
On Wednesday, Insider Tim Twentyman joined Cattles & Ramie, to discuss the upcoming season and what fans can expect from the Detroit Lions this year.
Topics discussed include:
- People are falling in love with Campbell and the Lions because of “Hard Knocks”
- How much will the team improve from last year?
- The Lions have a sneaky good offense with D’Andre Swift and T.J. Hockenson
- But can the defense keep the Lions in games this year?
- Is there confidence in Jared Goff?
