The latest Donovan Mitchell trade rumors are now connecting the Utah Jazz star to Sacramento.
That’s according to a new report that lists the Sacramento Kings in the mix for the perennial All-Star as it looks like the Jazz are set to rebuild.
The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported Monday that along with the New York Knicks, “several other teams have expressed interest to the Jazz when it comes to Mitchell, such as Washington, Miami, Toronto, Charlotte, Sacramento and Atlanta, according to sources.”
Sources: The Boston Celtics have offered a Jaylen Brown package to the Nets for Kevin Durant, which Brooklyn turned down and countered.

The Jazz have had a busy offseason. It all started when Quin Snyder announced his decision to resign as head coach. Following that news, the team shipped center Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves for five players and five draft picks. Since then, the Donovan Michell trade rumors have only intensified. Mitchell, only 25 years old, has not specifically come out and requested a trade.
Since signing Malik Monk and trading for Kevin Huerter, Kings’ General Manager Monte McNair has said he isn’t done making moves. The Kings have not made the playoffs since 2006 and hope to break that streak this season with their off-season moves, including the addition of rookie Keegan Murray.
