Tight end Foster Moreau is planning a comeback to the NFL next season.

Earlier this year, the former Las Vegas Raiders tight end announced he was stepping away from football after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The 25-year-old said in a series of tweets the discovery came during a physical with the New Orleans Saints.

On Wednesday, Moreau’s agent told ESPN that he “since has had positive results after treatment and plans to play this season.” Along with the positive news, ESPN also reports that Moreau has signed a three-year contract with the Saints worth $12 million. The tight end is expected to join the team for OTA at the end of May.

According to the Mayo Clinic, Hodgkin’s lymphoma is a type of cancer that impacts the body’s germ-fighting immune system.

Foster Moreau was selected by the Raiders in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. In four seasons with the organization, he caught 91 receptions for 1,107 yards and 12 touchdowns. Last year, he saw career highs in catches (33) and yards (420).

He joins his former Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr in New Orleans.
