Sacramento Kings radio voice Gary Gerould joined Deuce & Mo Thursday to talk about the Sacramento Kings’ playoff hopes, their upcoming clash with the Portland Trail Blazers and why a plane delay shouldn’t impact Portland’s play on the court. Plus, G-Man shared his emotions with his 3,000th game on the horizon.

“It’s kind of mind-numbing. I mean, I can’t really grasp the reality. And yet by the same token, it’s very meaningful to me,” Gerould said on the show Thursday. “I probably have autographed game balls from the 1,000 game and from the 2,000 game, and hopefully I’ll get an autographed game ball for number 3,000.”

Topics discussed include:

  • The Kings’ playoff push
  • Remember Greg Van Dusen: G-Man’s memories and experiences with him in Sacramento
  • The G-Man on his upcoming 3,000-game milestone and what it means to him
  • Why Portland’s late arrival shouldn’t be overlooked if the game is played tonight
  • His experience with delays and how the Kings have fared over the years
  • Why G-Man is so confident in this Kings team
  • His love for Mike Brown and the coaching staff
